slimming world chilli recipe


1 onion
500g 5% mince
Tin of chopped toms
Tin of kidney beans
2 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Cinnamon
handful of chopped Coriander
1 tbsp Tomato puree
1 tsp dried chilli
1 Garlic
1tbsp Worcester sauce

PREP TIME: 10 mins, COOKING TIME: 45 mins, SERVINGS: 4

-Chop and brown off the onion in pan with some low-calorie cooking spray

-Add meat and cook for around 10 min – until brown

-Add crushed garlic along with paprika, cumin and cinnamon and mix all together

-Add chopped tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato puree, stock and stir together

-Add 400ml boiling water, stir and turn down the heat and let simmer for 30 min

-Then drain and add a can of kidney beans and stir in (If you are feeding little
mouths then take out their portion now)

-Add your chilli flakes and simmer for a further 15 minutes

-serve with rice and some fresh coriander ( I also use a dollop of 0% fat-free Greek yogurt on top to act as a coolant)
Never know how much rice to cook? 1 CUP of dried rice is 2 adult portions (this also makes enough to put a little aside for my little boy)
