TURKEY BURGERS

INGREDIENTS:

1 Onion
1 Garlic
Handful of fresh parsley
500g Turkey mince
1 Egg
fresh chilli

PREP TIME: 5 min, COOKING TIME: 20min, SERVINGS: makes 5-6 burgers

HOW TO MAKE:

-Peel onion and garlic clove and blitz in a blender for a couple of seconds (or finely chop with a knife if you don’t have a blender)

-Add the onion and garlic to a large bowl and add finely chopped parsley

– Pour in a beaten egg and mix together thoroughly with your hands or a wooden spoon
(If you are feeding little mouths then take out there portion now)

-Add chopped chilli to the mixture and season with salt and pepper

-Make into burger shapes with your hands and place in an oven on tin foil on 200 degrees for around 15/20 minutes

-Then transfer into a preheated hot frying pan with low calorie cooking spray to get a slight crisp on the outside

(TIP: If you cook them in a pan they just fall apart so always cook them off in the oven or grill first)

-Served with a wholemeal bun, healthy chips and my homemade coleslaw
